After reading so many articles, I deicide to bring the awareness of IDP in Iraq for everyone to understand their difficulties. During the past ten years, Iraq suffers invasions, conflicts with neighbour countries, ISIS or even internal civil disturbance causing the result of people lost their homes. This would influence the IDP numbers significantly. I started to worry about the shelters whether it’s enough or not for the refugees to stay since the IDP rate is so high in Iraq. Home provides us warmth and safety. It is important to us and so do the people in Iraq.
Communication Goals
By applying different colors, icons and shapes, my goal is to present a strong visualization infographic while helping audience to understand the serious issue of people in Iraq suffering from IDP. I would like to display the situation of shelters corresponding to each major events/conflicts on a timeline from early year 2014 to present.
